About Me
Hi, my name is Andrew Dallow, a born and raised Cantabrian, with a passion for both Computer Science and Astronomy. I recently obtained a graduate diploma in computer science where I learnt several programming languages, including: Python, Java, C, HTML, PHP, and JavaScript. My academic training has provided me with in-depth knowledge and experience in writing code that conforms to industry standards and semantic best practises. During my studies I have developed my abilities in conceptual and critical thinking, problem solving, quality control, teamwork, and effective communication and time management. I am eager to be challenged in order to grow and improve my team work and professional IT skills. Currently I am working as a freelance web developer and designer creating interactive websites for small businesses as well as constantly learning about new web technologies such as AngularJS and the SilverStripe content management system. In my spare time I like to get involved in team based computer games such as Counter Strike and Overwatch as well as photographing astronomical phenomena through my telescope.
